well here is a survey created by me especially directed towards people with low self-esteem within themselves when it comes to relationships and getting a bf/gf.

1) have you ever thought your appearance has affected your chances of hooking up with a particular person, whether it be in a positive or negative way? if so why/how?

2) in reality, how much do you think that looks has to do with a relationship?

3) do you often feel that you aren't good enough for someone or that most people are "out of your league"?

4) do you consider yourself to be good looking? why or why not?

5) have you ever thought that you would be single forever because you think that nobody will ever want to be with you because of your looks? why/why not?

1) have you ever thought your appearance has affected your chances of hooking up with a particular person, whether it be in a positive or negative way? if so why/how? Yes, I am not attractive. Nobody has ever told that they like me. Being gay doesn't help.

2) in reality, how much do you think that looks has to do with a relationship? Well, if a person is beautiful outside and inside, it's the perfect thing.

3) do you often feel that you aren't good enough for someone or that most people are "out of your league"?

I really don't know. I do fail at life.

As said above, I don't think I am good looking. But I don't know.

Well, it's the primary attractant in most cases, so at first, a lot, bt not so much after that.

All the time

No, because I have a bunch of fucked up features, acne, and I'm overweight

No, I'll be single forever because I'm gay

Yes, some guys are really shallow and just wouldn't date someone who weighs as much as me.

2) in reality, how much do you think that looks has to do with a relationship?
Very little, but not none at all. It's not necessary to be attractive, but if a particular person finds you physically repulsive for some reason the relationship eventually won't work. However, it's impossible to by physically repulsive to absolutely everyone because everyone's tastes are different.

3) do you often feel that you aren't good enough for someone or that most people are "out of your league"?
Rarely to never. I consider myself to be a good person and worthy of any other good person. I'm much more likely to feel other people are out of their league if they want to date me, but the actual percentage of the population that fits in that catagory is rather small. (i.e. I don't date the homeless or people more mentally ill than me.)

4) do you consider yourself to be good looking? why or why not?
I consider myself to be on the low side of average, mostly because of my weight. Other than that I like how different I look. My facial features, for example, are very different from what you'd see on a model, but I like all of them anyway. I look like my dad and one of my brothers, and I like looking like them no matter how unusual my nose may look in profile or how huge my forehead is.

5) have you ever thought that you would be single forever because you think that nobody will ever want to be with you because of your looks? why/why not?
I have thought I'd be single forever, but not due to my physical appearace. I'll admit that sometimes the only reason is because I don't care much about the physical appearance of who I date so there's got to be someone out there who everyone rejected on appearance that I could accept on personality and character, and would accept me because I accept them. But lately I've been feeling like I have a decent shot at anyone as long as they're not superficial (and if they are I probably don't want to be dating them anyway).
