well, last night i was at a friends house. my friend has a prescription bottle of liquidized loritab for his bad leg. i've never tried anything stronger than marijuana before, so i decided to give it a shot. i probably took 3 big gulps of the liquidized loritab. keep in mind 1 tsp of this stuff is about the equivalent to a 7mg loritab pill. so, all in all, i took probably 30mg of loritab.

 oh my fucking god was it good.... i'm not promoting the use of drugs, but this was probably the BEST feeling i've ever had in my life. it didn't cause hallucinations or a "stoned" feeling, it was more like an EXTREMELY relaxed sensation through out my whole body. i didn't have care in the world...

apparently loritab is an "upper", also known as an anti-depressant. but, it's really meant for pain relief. me being a really pessimistic type of dude bonded quickly with this drug. it just made me feel so happy.. i don't know.. i'll definatly be doing this drug again

has anyone else taken loritabs before? what was your experience?

Congratulations!

Consider yourself a lucky man as you could've easily died. Dependant on the type of ''upper'' in the medicine..

Uppers are bad mmkay? Like cocaine.. Theres a reason people get very easily addicted to them. And when an addiction forms you'll need higher dosages to get a high

Just my 2 cents

In short not a smart idea

Yeah man, you don't want to be playing around with prescription drugs, especially ones that aren't yours.

It is not uncommon for addicts to have liver problems from consuming excessive amounts of acetaminophen over a long period of time; taking 10,000 to 15,000 milligrams (10 to 15 grams) of acetaminophen in a period of 24 hours typically results in severe hepatotoxicity, and doses in the range of 15,000–20,000 milligrams a day have been reported as fatal.

I would suggest you stop because like Hyper said, once you start taking it a lot, you'll need more and more to get the same high as when you first took them, which isn't a good thing.

My oral surgeon proscribed loritab to me after I got my wisdom teeth pulled, and it made me feel seriously ill; I quickly switched to the large doses of ibuprofen he suggested as an alternative. I was nauseous, dizzy, and I couldn't think very well (in a bad way) until it worked itself out of my system. I mean seriously, I ended up getting a dry socket and I'd rather have one of those again instead of taking loritab again. Nasty stuff!

Guy's don't try to scare him so much.

30mg of hydrocodone is an average recreational dose, maybe a little on the high side, but nowhere near LD.

As for the APAP being mentioned, taking 3-4g at once won't even make your liver twinge. It would take a lot higher single dose or slightly higher chronic dosage to cause damage.

Hydrocodone isn't an upper either, its a synthetic opioid. Basically a downer with euphoric effects.

Mods: I am not supporting drug use, just enlightening.

Yes you are right

But he didn't know anything about the drug.. And he could've been sensitive to it.

In the end it was a stupid thing to do
