I don't care how I look I know im ugly and fat but w/e. But every time I get the chance to eat, I say no, I just don't want to eat. I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat. Why I don't know, but i eventually eat after about 2-3 days of not eating.

Why????

That's how my ED(s) started... I thought I was really fat and ugly so I'd go without food for as long as I could without people noticing. I'd eventually binge :(

Chelsea, you need to start eating regularly. Even if you find it hard. You also need to know that you're not fat or ugly. If you feel that way, start excercising - just half an hours walking a day then building on it (without pushing yourself too far) can really help your self esteem and confidence. Change your diet, to include mostly fruit, veg and carbs (they are always forgotten but still as important) and don't eat until you're full. The feeling of fullness is your body's way of telling you it's uncomfortable - as well as feeling hungry. Also switch all of your drinks to water, I'm always surprised at how much healthier people look when they drink more water.

Don't forget, you can always find support from us :)

Sorry if it didn't make sense, no time to proof read

Right now I can't really do anything, but I just Don't WANT to eat and would rather not, because I'll end up gaining weight. Most of the time, I'll end up eating an apple or something small. I drink only water, sometimes milk (almost never).

Well, I for one don't accept your self description being 'ugly'. But you already know that.

There are lots of reasons for loss of appetite, not all of them are ED. In your case, my dear, it sounds more like a case of bad dieting to lose weight, rather than a response to emotional issues.

So, what I'd suggest is you find yourself a GOOD diet, add some reasonable exercise, and stick to it. None of this starve youself stuff, it doesn't work, anyway. What you need is basic nutrition, self discipline, and time. What you're learning (or relearning) is basic lifestyle things, behaviors that will become a part of your daily routine.
