A lot of girls do use them, and some toothbrushes allow you to remove the head which leaves just a vibrating metal bit that some girls use as well. As long as it's not hurting anything and, the head (if using it) is separate from the one you use to brush your teeth (kind of obvious, but still important), it's ok.
