Although I am the counselor, I don't have you IP, and even if I did, it still wouldn't be worth it :P If you asked me this in 2001, then I could do it in a breeze, but Microsoft has found nearly every hole in their OS. Those holes that haven't been 'filled' yet are necessary and a select few processes (local and remote) have permission to actually 'use' them. I think the biggest problem in XP is the remote connection, which has various security flaws, but that's only if the computer is on and the hacker uses a brute force attack towards the victim.

Anyway it goes, I would have to have all day just to get in to a poorly guarded system like that - mainly because of all the info I'd have to get just from the IP address. :|

Besides, nowadays I'm more in to scripting and the hacks I might be interested in are strictly white-hat.

Hope ya had fun with that :canadian:

umm how the hell can you 'brute force' your way into someones computer? that makes no sense: there is no password protecting the whole computer, a hacker isnt sitting there tyring to get into someones laptop and then you hear a voice say 'correct password' and they ahve access to the whole computer.. just doesnt work that way i don thtink

hes talking about remote desktop, which only requires a password for access

It also requires the network settings (domain name/user name/etc) But yeah, all the confirmation that you need for it is the correct password to a remote-capable account.

im sorry but i have to lawl at that, one, if you're asking for him to hack ur comp i think itd b funny if a random person was goin on vt, and completely f'd the comp just for a first hand lesson why not to do it, really, its not kewl to ask someone to hack you :( any random person browsing vt without or with an acct could easily read this and mess you up,

Inless you can see through a moniter with some magical power of yours, youve got no idea who your actually talking to... RULE NUMBA ONE ON DA NET
sheesh sometimes I think our generation lost common sense somewhere back when they were little kids, it's really sad, you've gotta be more careful...

example of how weird the net is check out www.zabasearch.com and try typing in your full name... btw my dads name came up on number one and it had our house address and phone number, didn't cost a cent, tis why you cant tell ppl your real name and is prolly why your parents stress that so often...or atleast should..
