why did i puke up water?

alright, i'm deffo REAAALLLLY sick, i never throw up

last night i started throwing up crap, and i mean a LOT. been like this all morning{by the end i think it was all snot though}

About an hour ago, i started eating ice chips [actually, im eating that now], and about 20 min ago i puked.. all water


Sorry for so gross, but wtf? i didn't think water needed to be digested

Well if you swallow something... where's it go? your stomach. And if your stomach is upset, it will regurgetate the substance in your stomach, thus, the water. This has to do with why people are supposed to drink a lot of water so that they retain the nutrients they actually do eat and just vomit the water. And if you just vomit water all the time, you'll dehydrate.

Well, since you have only been eating ice, then you will puke up water.
Melted ice=water, and water doesn't simply go through your system, it still has to go through your stomach. And whats in your stomach would come up if you barfed.
