Prom

I asked this girl if she would go to prom with me just as friends. She said someone else already asked her but doesn't know if it would work out yet and if not she would go with me. I don't want to get screwed over by her waiting to late to tell me if she will go with me or not so I can't decide if I should ask this other girl that might go with me just in case and one of them get screwed over. What should I do?

I'd just ask another girl and go with that girl, even if the other girls date doesn't work out.

I would go with the most sure thing. If the one you asked first says yes AFTER your second one says yes, they its their loss.

Im just really good friends with both of them and they are friends with each other and I don't want either of them to not be able to go because of me and what if they talk about it and then neither will go with me

The one you asked first can't just expect you to sit and wait to see if the first date works or not. You need to be proactive in this and ask the other person. That will work out best, I feel.

Well if you ask them both, its fair game, who ever answers yes first gets you. And realize, you could be said no to by both ladies. Unfortunate, but realize the possibilty.
