So I was just wondering what everyone here thinks about this, do you think you can love someone, but not like them?

Absolutely. Sort of applies to some family members in my case.

My sister being my prime example.

We're polar opposites, and I cannot stand how shallow and superficial she can get, her unwillingness to adventure and stay in her bubble, how judgemental she can be...

But at the end of the day, she's still my sister and I know that she is a truly good person at heart when it gets down to it. And the fact of the matter is, she is my only sibling, my flesh and blood. The one person I know for fact that I can always rely on, and that is why I love her.

You can, I do with most of my family members and one of my friends that annoys me constantly But I love him anyway.

As everyone else said, yes.

The little girl I babysat for was being mean to her brother. I asked her to stop and said "Why are you being mean?" "I love him, but I just don't like him."

I think that in all cases, you can love someone without liking them. For some married couples they fight all the time, and yet they love each other.

Inevitable love. Like, I LOVE my best friends, but I dont like them. What they do and how they act are so annoying, but I love them anyway.

My brother is very self centered and judgemental at times.
But he is my brother, and I love him.
