mood swings. caused by hormones. you could be laughing one minute, crying the next, mad as hell the next one after that, then your happy again.

isn't puberty grand?

girls aren't the only ones who are emotional, guys are too! although most guys choose not to show it there is no problem with showing your emotions. DOn't be afraid of them just use them to learn to grow

Well, hormonal changes do account for mood swings, but crying in class for no reason? I''m not so sure that would fall under that category.

Try to figure out what's going on there, what is causing these outbursts. Also, regardles of puberty, there's this thing called self control, try exerting it, esp. when you feel a 'moment' coming on.

My view is that hormones are the root of your issue as your body is developing and is trying to find that right balance of everything. You are going to probably have times where you are really moody and will have mood swings which is why when you feel sad, angry, or bad that you try to avoid things or people that upset you and that you try to put your feelings in perspective by knowing that hormones are affecting you.

However, never forget to vent out your feelings and talk to someone when you are feeling low. One of the best ways to get past puberty mood swings is to have a responsible friend in whom you can confide, and also being tight with your parents can go a long way to dealing with your feelings as they understand you best.

I've actually heard that males go through a mental "period" every month. I forget where I read it, but there are actually a burst of emotions that happen close to a woman's cycle. i can't even remember why, but even I've noticed that it'll happen to me too. It stops after puberty for guys, though... :)

Mood swings. To do with puberty, menstural cycle doesn't help either.
It's normal for teenage girls. To be honest, i think it's harder for girls during puberty than boys.
Don't worry it'll pass eventually. You could buy a punch bag?
