It's a myth. Myths are myths and myths are generally wrong. No it does not.

It may cause health problems if u drink too much, however thats the same with any drink.
The only thing that can kill sperm that could be in drinks is oestrogen which lowers your sperm count for a small amount of time

Agreed
Don't bother listening
Mountain Dew would go out of business if that were true.

Mountain Dew and other soft drinks are not good for your body but they don't kill off sperm. Soft drinks do drain your body of vital vitamins and minerals though. So one thing to remember when drinking soft drinks is that you should twice as much water as you drink. For example if I drink a 12oz of Mtn Dew I need to drink 24oz of water to compensate for what I am going to lose by drinking the Mtn. Dew.
Soft drinks taste so good it is hard to resit them. I really like drinking Pepsi.

Where did you hear this from?
Like I never heard of this rumor/myth until I joined this site and you aren't the first person to ask. I'm just wondering who came up with this.

Mountain Dew (or any other water based concotion) will kill sperm immediately if you spill it on them, externally.
If you drink it, it will do nothing to alter fertility. The rumour that it will kill sperm is a myth, think about it: the FDA would ban it instantly if those claims were actually true.
Another reason why you have to always exercise critical judgement (and a bit of common sense) when evaluating things you hear, esp. from unknown or unverified sources.

Its like a rumour that chocolate gives you spots, its probably been made up by parents who dont want there kids running loose 24/7 on sugary drinks.
Just drink it in moderation cause if you drink to much of anything it can make u feel bad

I've heard this rumor since I was 8, I actually stopped drinking Mountain Dew for a while until my doctor told me it wasn't true

I've heard it, but I still don't get how people could even consider the myth.

no. theres almost the same stuff in Pepsi as Mountain Dew(mountain dew is made by Pepsi). and if pepsi did that, the human race would go extinct.
