Girls, does it matter what a guy wears to you? Like does it mean more than a first impression or what?
Just wondering, 'cos nobody really notices me every day, and today on a field trip I dressed full adlay and I got some good looks from a few girls and it seemed heaps easier to talk to the ones I didn't know, which is, all of them lol.
So it seems to me that it makes a lot of difference, but I'm not sure?!
I'd really appreciate a girls' view!

It doesnt mean much to me But the way you dress helps you get noticed. So they now notice you.. and want to get to know your personality?
I know that if a guy dressed really bad or didnt stand out.. I would want to get to know them because they seem like part of the crowd.. Hope this helps but its only my ideas.

I don't care much.
I mean, if you dress like a total bum, i won't pay any attention. but since most guys don't care about clothes, its like 'whatever'

Confidence + Personality = Key
I don't really care much about how guys dress,
Though it does give some insight to their personality.
Just don't dress like a bum,
Because that can be an indicator that you don't take much care of yourself.

I'm not turned off by how a guy dresses as long as it's clean, not stained, not falling apart at the seams, and has no (unintentional) holes in it. But I would put this all under the same catagory as personal hygiene - I'm not attracted to things that make me say "ew". But I'm also a bit turned off by a guy who dresses a little too well on a daily basis because I'm a casual person myself. Also, in my experience most of these guys are stuck up and think they're too good for me. The guys I tend to be attracted to generally wear something along the lines of jeans and a shirt that's one notch better than a t-shirt (e.g. a polo shirt), though I don't mind a t-shirt on a guy who's in good enough shape that you can tell he's in good shape based on how a t-shirt fits him. ;)
Messy hair depends on the haircut for me. I don't like it when I can't easily see a guy's eyes, and I don't think it looks good with really long hair.

It doesn't matter what you wear, but how you wear it. If grungy is your look, hey rock on. But that doesn't mean you can get away with unwashed hair and unironed clothes. It's all about presentation- if you care enough to make yourself look decent, I don't care what clothes you're wearing. But if you just throw on a shirt and jeans every day that you dug up from the bottom of a hamper somewhere and decide shampoo just isn't your thing...no. Not cool.
