Dating This Girl

Ok so there's this girl that I plan on dating soon, and she knows its coming. However, meeting with her parents is eminent. And because of that I thought of something.

Should I meet her parents before I start dating her, and ask for their permission or something? Would this be a good idea and has anyone ever done this before/have this happen to them before?

ok wut i would do is meet the parents first. its so that they can get to know u better. if they approve u then u can start dating her. thats my point. or u can date her first then meet the parents. which ever ones the best 4 u

I don't think dating someone is really that big of a deal
People rarely ask their girlfriend's parents before they propose any more.
It would be kind of silly to ask their permission, but then again they might like you for respecting their wishes.

i think meeting her parents first is a good idea, and make sure that when you do, you leave a good impression on them, like by being polite and stuff like that. i wouldn't ask permission for just asking her out. that is something that you might want to do when you propose to someone one day.
