This isn't, IMO, using sex to sell it. Axe, or whatever it is, is meant to make you smell nice and make you attractive to women. The advert, by the sounds of it, is just saying "yes, women do find you really attractive when you wear this".

Yup, that's the market for ya. AXE is awful and I can say that much. The thing wouldn't even stick on for a few hours. I use Old Spice and Degree for Men. Those work.

It's usually different preferences for different women. It's just personal choice. I don't see a problem with it but I find the commercials very misleading ;)
