Car Racing

I guess racing cars is a sport, right? If it's on ESPN, it's a sport! lol

Anyway, I have no idea how to go about searching for something like this on google or in the phone book or whatever, so does anybody know how I can find a place where I can race with my own car, like a drag racing strip or something? But I'm talking about a place that will let you use your own car, not a stupid go-kart or something... I know these exist because my dad used to do it when he was my age...

You could try looking in the phone book for raceways around where you live, then ask them if they allow drag nights or something? You could also try calling your local council or government and see if they know of places where you can race.
