im uncomfortable about talking to my parents about sex and masturbation, so i cant ask them about lubricants or dildos, any "around the house" things that i could try that would go un-noticed by my parents?

Your fingers would help in masturbation. Are you male or female?

Whenever I jack off, I try to do it in the shower so it doesn't leave a smell of cum (just in case) but if you're doing it in the shower, just try using body wash or something, it works pretty good and if it doesn't "slide" fast enough, just get more soap, and it works wonders for me. Good Luck

it stings if it gets inside your foreskin if your uncircumcized. spit dosn't dry your skin, but spit dries up really quickly.

Walgreens carries lube, im pretty sure jewel-osco does. Meijer definitely. You might get some strange looks but nobody will ask you questions. Ive bought condoms and the cashier just gave a weird stare, that was about it.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use soap. It is probably one of the worst options for you!

Let me put it this way so you can see why:

In chemistry we use things called acids and bases, while most people feel acids are worst it actually is bases because they break up protein. So you may be thinking 'then why is soap bad?
this is because soap is a base, now although we do use soap it is not a strong base; however, whenever focused in large quantities it can become much more dangerous (a higher Molarity concentration). So using soap (theoretically) could destroy some of the proteins in your penis leaving dry and chaffed skin which would not be pleasant in the long run.

What to use? I'm not sure, but definitely do not use soap, and for those of you who reccomend it I recommend that you cease using it soon . . . This may not have happened to you but do you really want to risk your 'pride and joy' over temporary pleasure?
