DFI Launches LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR – The World's First Motherboard Based On ATI's CrossFire Chipset
Taipei, Taiwan – October 19, 2005
DFI, a world leader of motherboards and maker of the award-winning LANParty motherboard series, today announced the launch of the highly anticipated LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR board based on the AMD platform and powered by ATI's RadeonR Xpress 200 CrossFireTM Edition chipset. DFI is the first company in the world to bring to the market the CrossFire motherboard.

The LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR brings to market an exciting new technology that combines the power of multiple graphics processing units (GPU) into a single system. With support for 2 PCI-e graphic cards, the LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR delivers the ultimate graphics performance with up to two times the frame rates of a single GPU, improving the experience of any 3D application. Furthermore, the LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR offers up to twice the anti-aliasing quality of a single GPU at full speed.

DFI's LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR was designed for the ultimate gamer and enthusiast. It offers DFI's famous Genie BIOS where users can adjust the voltage levels for memory, CPU, and chipset, just to name a few of the extensive performance tweaking options offered in the BIOS.

In addition, the LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR maximizes performance with DFI's CMOS ReloadedTM, allowing users by save all the BIOS settings on-the-fly, rename the CMOS settings, and recall the settings using a user-defined hot-key.

Keeping with the high quality and standards of DFI's famous LANParty series, the LANParty UT RDX200 CF-DR consists of 6 layers of PCB for enhanced stability, smaller non-iron choke for increased heat absorption, 100% Japanese capacitors for best overclockability, low equivalent series resistance (ESR) solid capacitors to ensure safety, and a magnetic-levitated fan to eliminate noise. KarajanTM 8-channel audio card is again incorporated to maximize the game and video sound effect.
