Is this . . . Normal ?

I have been worried about this for quiet some time now.
I started my period when I was 11, and Now that Im nearly 15 I've started to notice that My friends Are on a regular cycle and have been for some time.
Meanwhile, I have only had 5 - 6 periods since I started nearly 4 years ago.
When I do Have them, there extremely painful and generally make my life hell.

My Discharge is also getting worse.
It looks perfectly normal, Its just that there's far to much of it and It makes me uncomfortable.
Should I be going to see a doctor about this ?
Boys can answer too, Im really not fussed :) .

It's normal. Sometimes it take a girl longer to get on a basic cycle for her periods. You're fin. In a few years it will shape out :)

Since your not having a regular cycle then your periods are going to be heavier and a lot worse than your friends. But it will start rearrange itself though.

you might just be one of those lucky girls that only gets a period a few times a year, i have a friend that only has 1 period a year but when she does have it it's hell! she's seen docters too and they just said some people just don't have a normal cycle theres no reason behind it and it doesn't mean theres a problem

Yeah, like everyone said you're probably fine. Everyone's cycles are always different somehow - mine alternate between a long gap and a short gap between cycles, for instance. And you still have years for it to settle before you'll need them to be regular. Of course, it doesn't hurt to talk to your doctor about it next time you go, even though it's not really worth going just for this particular problem. Maybe they'll be able to help you with how heavy they've become.

well when u get your period is it just that it is heavy or do u get big cramps as well

well your friendsclearly don't have the intelligence of someone from VT. it takes a while for some girls' periods to normalize, while others get it in a year or less.

I would suggest going to see a doctor. It may be nothing to worry about, but it could very well be. He/she should be able to give you something to lessen the pain you experience when you do have a period.
