I install Mac OS X, I rely on ONE microsoft program to work and it still manages to break! :(

If there's a version for Mac OSX, you might want to install Trillian (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/). It's been forever (more than 2 or 3 years) since I've used it, but it might help since I don't believe any part of it was coded by Microsoft.

Ok, its the latest, the one right before that works great for me. It could be the version, or your computer.

I had the same problem; therefore, I abandoned MS Messenger and moved onto to Yahoo messenger for my mac, you can import your MS MEssenger into their just like you can import yahoo contacts to MSMessenger
