Thinking about getting a PSP

hey guys, I am thinking about getting a psp, is it a good idea? i want to get it by the end of the week....Does anyone here have it and if so, when updates are availaible, I know u can do it through their website, but do you have to pay?

i was thinkin of gettin one for the movies and music but i don thtink it holds that much music .. movies are pretty cool tho, plu si alreadyu have an ipod mini so i shoudl count my blessings on any form of technology that i have :D

well sony just announced that sometime later this month, they r goid a psp giga pack, which comes with a 1GB memory stick duo, a psp stand, and a usb cord, which will cost $300...currently it costs $250

I got the 2.0 update for free with a game it was already on the UMD but i think u can download them free from there site yea once ur in the underground, {underground memberships free}

I don't like the DS at all
it can't do nearly as much
and the graphics suck on it
and fighting with a stylus is horrible I tried it out at best buy

its a software update they changed things around added the web browser blah blah blah gave it themes, walpaper capabilitys
stuff like that

i have made a decison, that I am gonna get it, I wanted to get it today but i chickened out ( long story), but I am gonna get it tomorrow..I cant wait...im gonna get the one iwth the giga pack...from what the guy told me, it is currently a 1.5, but i can upgrade, which I plan to do, cuz this new pack comes with a usb cord.

and the only thing i like about the DS is the new Wi-Fi network being introduced on monday....

and to Kiros....im SONY for life..woohoo

good for you, i love my psp, it rocks...and so many good games are comming. not to mention all the homebrew stuff you can do. youll be fine with a 1 gig stick. again good for you.

If you have a wireless hotspot you can just go to network update and in a few minutes its done

I just upgraded mine again from V2.0 to V2.50
