um... crotch area?
Do they make anything like that? If so, what's it called and where can I get it? I'm sure many guys know what I'm talking about and why I'm asking this...

Actually a lot of guys sweat a lot down there, and usually sweat stinks.
EDIT: Aha. Never mind wrong info.

Oh god no. I am sure that you may get some type of irritation down there if you do. Usually deodorants are strictly designed for your underarms and generally torso. I think that if you put some down there it won't be good. So just don't. Instead if you wash daily with soap and water then it shouldn't matter. Also, any smells that may develop shouldn't be horribly strong.
Anyways, I am not aware of anyhting on the market particularly for this but I know like baby powder will keep it fairly dry down there so try that if it is that bad.

AHA! John you were right :P
Im glad I never tried that.
Assuming that you are referring to your penis's scent and not looking for some new kinky way to use your roll-on, there are better, safer ways to freshen smells coming from the crotch area than covering it up with deodorant. Deodorant bars, sprays, and stones are not made for use on the genitals and can contain chemicals that could be especially irritating to the more delicate skin down under. Keep the deo under your arms, and let's examine some of your other options.
If you're uncircumcised and you are aware of the smell coming from the head of the penis, you may have a build up of smegma or even possibly a yeast infection underneath the foreskin. Check out Scent of an uncircumcised penis for more information, tips on cleaning, and a handful of reader responses.
If you're uncircumcised and/or the smell you notice seems to be coming from farther down below — underneath your scrotum or between your legs — then taking some extra steps regarding personal hygiene might help. Shower more frequently, be sure to wash the genitals carefully and thoroughly, and use an antibacterial soap to stave off odor-causing bacteria in those dark, damp places. You can also apply talc-free and cornstarch-free baby powder to the area to help stay dry. Some people even use baby wipes to feel and smell fresh. Trimming your pubic area hair is another option, since hair traps sweat and odors, but beware — hair cut too short or shaved grows back uncomfortably with a tendency to twist, poke, and itch.
If you are concerned about a persistent odor, even when all of these measures are taken, consulting your health care provider to take a closer look at other possible causes, such as a sexually transmitted infection or other condition, is a good idea. If you're at Columbia, call x4-2284 to make an appointment with Primary Care Medical Services.
You may also want to consider whether any aroma coming from your genital region is something to be concerned about. Bodies produce unique, distinctive, but not unpleasant fragrances that are their signature scent. As a result, the expectation to smell freshly of soap for the entire day (if you showered or bathed in the morning) may be unrealistic.
Lastly, if you smell just fine, and you were interested in using deodorant on your penis anyway, there are new fragrance sprays and powders formulated for the entire body. The directions on the packaging will tell you whether they are safe or not for misting or sprinkling near "delicate tissues."

How would it hurt? Especially if it was a spray-on kind or something...

I don't know why you would need deoderant on your penis?

Jack was right. Wash daily and you should be fine. Deodorant has stuff in it that can irritate you genitals, so I would avoid spraying anything like that down there.
If you feel a need, you could always wash down there a couple of times during the day or shower more than once a day.
