Just come across this: http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=9846 (check his sig).. the pics are huge and the image resizer does nothing (set to default in my cpanel).

It resizes the top one for me when I view posts. But yeah it's rather large.

In your options in the user CP you can specify at what point you want the images resized. You might have it too high for some reason, but it works for me.

i don't think it's your fault. I've been having the same problem in anywhere there's pictures, i think others have too.

admins: is this a glitch in VT, sometimes it resizes sometimes it doesn't

My sig pic doesn't even expand the post area.

It's not your fault, I was just using you as an example. It just means the forum isn't amking the images smaller.

I did post a thread on this here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29989), but it wasn't taken too seriously, probably because nobody else was having it at the time. Andy, is it only being a problem some times? like how sometiems it's set correctly, but sometimes it's balooning?

It only happens some of the time. I think the resizer good when it works, but no use in having something that only works half the time. There was nothing wrong with the old one.

I thought that the new Image Resizer fixed a majority of things. But this new method of resizing may be causing a bug. I'll change it back to the regular method.

Okay, it looks like whatever bug there might have been has been solved. I also want to make something clear. There are the normal values for images in posts and then there are signature values for images in signatures. When viewing a person's profile, the system uses the normal values for the signature because it's not within a post.

Normal defaults: 500x375 (pixels [WIDTH]x[HEIGHT])
Signature defaults: 500x140 (pixels [WIDTH]x[HEIGHT])
