Sexually mature?

hey guys, i was wondering if i was sexually mature. i'm 18 1/2 years old: i have a vast amount of pubic hair... on my balls, penis, pubic area, gooch (area between anus and scrotum), my inner thigh, and my anus, and ofcourse i can ejaculate about a teaspoon of semen. i also have a visible, but not yet thick, strip off hair coming from my pubic area to my navil cavity. i have no chest hair. i do however have arm pit hair, not really a bush, but its definatly noticeable. i have a little hair on my butt checks.. and a good amount of leg hair. i'm about 5'9'' and weigh in at about 140 lbs. i used to have alot of acne, but its died down.. primarily because of the face wash i use. i haven't had a growth spurt in awhile. i don't have much facial hair, but i do shave a chin piece, and moustache atleast once a week or every 2 weeks. i don't have thick side burns yet. my penis is probably 5 1/2 inches. do you guys think i'm sexually mature, just not yet fully developed? :confused:

Your definitely near the end of puberty, and anyone who can ejaculate semen is sexually mature
The only thing you have to worry about it whether you are mentally ready for sex or not.
If you are ready for the worst things that could happen: having a baby, getting HIV/AIDS, getting herpes.
Always use a condom, but still expect the worst. Don't think a condom is all powerful, they can go wrong.

i would say that you are physically sexually mature. once you are able to ejaculate semen you are in theory sexually mature. but if what you are actually asking is whether you are physically mature (finished puberty) i would say no, but you are close.

It seems like on the surface that you are nearing the end of puberty in light of all of the development you have. Usually when a person develops the "pubic triangle" in terms of hair growth that is usually a sign that most growth is over. Puberty is a 4-5 process, and if you are about that far from the start of puberty, then an educated guess is that you are done.

As for sexual maturity, in theory the day a guy gains the ability to ejaculate is when he is sexually mature on a physical level. Being mature on a mental level is a totally different ball game as that can take a while for most folks. Just be careful with your sexuality as you and your partner should always use protection, and you and your partner should be tested for STDs if you both are not virgins.

Sexual maturity is defined as the ability to produce and deliver live sperm. Sounds like you can do that.

Puberty is (loosely) defined as those changes in the body that result from hormonal release during adolescence, following a sequence of biological events, ending in with the changes we associate with adulthood. Sounds like you've got a lot of those, maybe most.

Puberty can continue until the early twenties, so you've got time left for those few things you've mentioned to develop further. An easy way to understand this is to remember that puberty is centered in the center of your body (your gonads/genitals/testicles), and the changes radiate outwards from there. So, the parts furthest from there will be (typically) affected last: The brain, the face, etc. So, most guys can tell when it's all over b/c they can grow a full beard and they are aware that they think and feel and understand things much differently than before.
