Well, assuming that You is a class, with a private attribute sad that must be accessed through the public function sad(), I don't see any sense doing sad().stop(). sad() returns a bool, which we know to be false, and then call FALSE.stop()?

Also, You.sad()==TRUE is redundant, as You.sad() already seems to return a boolean value.
