To me, this doesn't seem like it's coming from a teen (but then again that's just me). How old are you?

Well, I suppose it's possible to develop male pattern baldness in adolescence, but the chances are it's due to some other cause, esp. if there's no history of this in the family. This is one I'd call the doc on ASAP, it's probably some little nasty up there that needs treatment, maybe some dietary thing, get it checked for sure.

It is possible for a teen to develop thinning hair.
There are many issues that are possible. The first one that comes to my mind is stress. Stress is infamous with thinning hair, acne, etc. So the first thing I would suggest to you is to clear any stress in your life. Have some "you" time and just breathe.
The next thing that comes to mind is a medical condition such as some type of cancer or something else of that nature. I would recommend seeing the doctor if you feel you are not under any stress. A lot of medical conditions lead to loss of hair.
If you are a drinker or smoker or do some type of drugs then that can be factors leading to it and I would say stop now if you are.
The other thing is hereditary but it is rare for it to factor in this early.
Since this is not related to puberty I am going to move it:
Boys Puberty  VTGH
Otherwise, I think that some other flaws in your life like insufficent nutrietents and toher things can contribute to hair loss. I would recommend going to the doctor though.
Good luck :D

Randy, noticeable hair loss isn't really a normal part of adolescence, there's a reason for it. Tell your folks, get it checked out!

Well at 15 it is rare that your hair line will recede. But its possible. Most of that has to do with your genetics. My brother is 18 and has a very bad receding hair line. At 15, its uncommon, but its possible. If you are really concerned about it, you can get it checked out.

I know someone who started balding at 15. You could be out of luck.
