im 16 and ive shaved before (face, balls occasionally) and the other day i decided on pure whim to shave off all my pubes. well now something that hasnt happened on my balls/face ever has happened to the area where my pubes were: i got red bumps. its not smooth at all, and ive tried putting vaseline on it to moisturize and then neosporin to heal, but nothings helping. anybody else have this problem? (ps, i have continued to shave the stubble off in the shower every day to keep the hair away)

I've shaved my pubes 3 times before... I got a couple red dot things and I think it was just from the razor or something... do you mean actual lumps or just like dot things?

I've shaved before, it happened to me too, I think it's normal.
I kinda like the hair

Its irratation from the razor. Pubic hair is generally the coarsest, so it takes a bit to get it out of there. Its quite possible that the red dots could be in grown hairs.

Yep, it's razor burn/ingrown hairs. And the reason it's not disappearing is that you continue to shave the stubble, continuing the source of irritation that caused the bumps in the first place.

Your issue is actually quite common on folks who totally shave off their pubes, and I agree with the others that you simply have rasor burn and nothing more. I would use some calomine lotion or some other anti-itch cream like hydrocortosone to reduce any discomfort that you have there. Your crotch area is going to be itchy for a little while as your hair grows back in, but once your pubes come back, then you should be fine.
While it is a personal choice on what you do with your body, it is probably best not to totally remove your pubes as that can no doubt cause the irritation that you are experiencing. I would say that it is best to trim your pubes, and you can buy a basic beard trimmer for around $10 from your local discounter or drugstore to use to trim that area. If you don't like body hair at all, then investing in an electric body hair groomer is your best bet.

Quite the daily shaving! It's iritating the area even more, leave it alone.
Apply a thin coating of vaseline JELLY (the lotion has alcohol in it which increases the irritation!) for a few days, maybe a week.

yeah, ive stopped shaving and put a lot of neosporin on the area. its better, and now ive got like a stubble, lmao. i dont know exactly why i did it, i think i just wanted to know what it felt like to be smooth there. but i generally do like body hair, makes me feel manly, hahaha

Well your skin is irritated from you shaving. I would not put vaseline on the shaved area, it will keep air from getting to the shaved area and clog the pores. By shaving everyday you did two things. One you irritated the skin more and two you made teh skin tougher there so it will be eaiser for you to shave there in the future if u decide to shave again.
The bumps are hair growing back just use a good lotion and when u finish showering pat dry the area and don't rub. I alway pat dry then use rubbing alcohol on the area it will sting at first then it will soothe the area. Good luck and if you do shave again read some information about it.

Sounds like stubble rash, completely normal I sometimes get it, just wash with warm water every day and the chances are it won't happen as much :)
