My desktop is about 3-4 months old. I built most of it back then. I've added a few things, so not all of it is quite that old yet.

My Laptop is about a month and a half old.

My HTPC/Server is less than a month old for most of it, although I am using some parts, such as the CPU Fan, HDD, and DVDRW Drive that I had prior to it, which are older.

My other computers have a range from anywhere between about 2 years old to some that were new in the mid 1980's.

I think I can safely say that I have quite a bit more computers than anyone else here. Most of them are older ones, that aren't being used.

I collect computers, both Apple and PC. Basically, whatever I can get my hands on.

:P I think not.

My whole family would have a TON if we kept all ours... we have like 6 right now... or 5... =P

But MY personal laptop is about 5 months old.

I have 1 Apple IIe that dates back to 1982, and 3-4 more Apple IIe's that date back to 1986-1988.

One Apple IIc that dates back to 1984.

I also have a Compaq SLT/286 Laptop that dates back to somewhere between 1988 and 1990. It doesn't have a date printed on it.

All of these work. The only problem is the eldest of the Apple IIe's needs to have the Composite connector it uses for video soldered back down. It's still there, but it's loose, and 2 of the newer Apple IIe's have a missing key on the keyboard.

But, otherwise, they're flawless, functionalitywise. It's quite interesting to play around with them.

I've also got 2 computers with Intel 8086 Processors in them from 1988.

The Apple IIe's were ALL in service for pretty much their entire lives up until about a year ago. They were used in a Kindergarden Classroom since they were new 20+ years ago. They were left on 24/7, except during summer vacation.

Shows how well things were built back then compared to now... :P

Granted, these have absolutely NO moving parts on them, whatsoever. The monitors are in the worst condition, although they do all work. Some of them don't have their original monitors that they came with, like the 1982 Apple, as that monitor didn't last as long as the computer itself.

You can hook them up to a TV, though, and have a color display. It's quite interesting to play the games it came with on 5.25 inch floppies on it. :P

I also have a couple Macintosh SE/30 Machines laying around that work just fine too. Although, unfortunately, I only have one set of keyboards and mice for it, but I've been thinking about grabbing an extra on ebay or something.

Here's a few pictures of the Mac SE/30 and the Newer Apple IIe. These were taken when I first got them a year or so ago. If anyone wants ones of the others, I can do that. But these are the few I had already uploaded:

Maybe a bit newer, I'm not sure.. they were IBM thinkpads.. i only had one hard drive for the 15 of them.. and that had windows 95 on it. They look exactly the same though.

Yeah, they haven't changed their design much over the years.

No lol, but they had the same size screen and the weird little mouse thing in the keyboard lol. They look exactly the same. So probably not too much different.

Okay, I lied apparently. I thought it was a 386, but it's actually a 486. I just turned it on and checked it.
