Firstly, you're just depressed. You use the color black to symbolize how you feel. You aren't emo in any sense of the word. Emo means you are over dramatic. You certainly aren't.
When he dumped you that just made you even more depressed. It's always hard to get back to your normal self when some one you love breaks up with you. It's never an easy thing to do but we all move on at some point. It may take a few days, weeks, or even years! But, for different people it takes a different ammount of time.
The other thing is your friends thinking you're emo. Once again, you are not emo, you are just depressed and depression happens to everybody. Even the most strong people are a bit depressed about something in life. I would not say they are friends if they are sterotyping you into the 'emo' category. Just flat out tell them that you're not emo and they would understand if they were real friends.
Talk to a councelor. I'm sure your school has at least one or two of them. Talk to them about the problems. They're professionals at this and we aren't. So go talk to one in your school or even someone like a parents or a person you trust!
It will all work out in the end Dezi, I'm sure! Just keeping looking on the bright side of life and not the down side.

You know those kind of things are just minor setbacks.
I understand that you are sad that you are not around your boyfriend. That really sucks. I know it does and to not be around the one person that makes you happy and who loves/likes you for who you really are but you will see him again. Remember that in 9 months you will be right back there with him enjoying you self like you have so many times before. So don't be sad that you guys are apart for now. It will get better.
As far as your friends, if they were your true friends then they should accept you even if you were emo. If they liked your personality and friendship then they should stick around. I am not sure why people start wearing black when they want to be goth/major emo. I am guessing that usually when people do this they are changing their lifestyle. So if you really like your friends then maybe you guys should come to a join compromise. You lay off on the black but remaining yourself while they remain friends and reliable to you.
I know you are sad because you are from your boyfriend but getting engaged in other things and haning out with your best friends at home could maybe make you feel better and then your friends wouldn't question your emo status which really shouldn't matter to them.

Really nice, John.
I'm sorry for your loss, Desi. FWIW, I think he made a big mistake.
Anyway, loss is a part of life, you have to learn how to deal with it. be extra nice to yourself, acknowledge there's an injury there, let people take extra good care of you.
But remember, those feelings will come back, with someone new. someone who (hopefully) be aroubd longer an dbe even better/nicer than he! The sooner you can heal and move beyond, the sooer you'll be able to find him. he's waiting!

Emo is a brand that people give to others who actually have some hardships given, instead of having everything given to them. I actually think that people who have such hardships grow up to be the mose dependent. But my main question is do you think you are Emotional? Because if you say your not, then your not.
