Well, the only way I can sleep at a normal time anymore (9/10pm) is if I take a sleeping pill, otherwise I wont sleep until 3/4am >___<
I take one pretty much every night, are they bad for you in the long run? can you get addicted? I'm just kinda worried.

It depends on the sleeper you're using, but generally, you can become dependent on them (if you already aren't).
It would be best to try to find out exactly why you cannot sleep naturally and then address that directly. There are many reasons why people cannot naturally fall off to sleep, including emotional reasons/stress, diet, health reasons, etc.
If you cannot logically figure this out and try to correct it successfully, then you should go to a doctor who can help, by running some tests and examining you.

A nightly dose of only one pill will not have any harmful effects a healthy 17 year old, even if it is taken for an extended period of time. However, it is very possible to become dependent on sleep medication. You should go off the medication for a few days and try to find an alternate solution. From my experience, a good thing is to try to set a sleeping schedule for yourself - pick what you think is a good time to go to sleep, and make sure you try to go to sleep around that time every night. Pick what you think is a good time to wake up, too - do not wake up too much earlier than necessary, but do not wake up at a time that will have you rushing to get ready either. You can also do some research on the Internet to find some other methods and tricks that may help you. :)

yes, and yes. What are you on? I know all sleeping pills can cause dependancy, but the ones I know about (Zopiclone/ Immovane, and Clonazepam) can be quite addictive. You should talk to your doctor, and book an appointment at a sleep clinic. They'll evaluate you while you're sleeping, and they'll have a better understanding of what the problem is.

They can become addictive, and you can build a tolerance to them, resulting in higher and higher dosages. In the end, it can become one big downward spiral. However, this all depends on the exact medication. I suggest you go to a sleep specialist (probably need a referral) and have them decide properly.
