View Full Version : Funniest Things You've Done At Work...

So we all need a little breather while we're at work once in a while, generally humor with our co-workers. So tell me, what is the funniest thing that you've done at work with your co-workers?
----------------
I have a couple...
1) Today Lynn and Jared were tickling eachother and wrestling around the store... so I decided to take Lynn's side as Jared had poured freezing pineapple juice down my back a few weeks ago and had gotten cornmeal in my bra that day after pouring it down my shirt. I grabbed the sauce brush and flung it at him... he got a HUGE splotch of sauce all over his face right as a customer walked in :D The expression on Lynn's face was priceless... literally a dropped jaw. I was trying so hard not to laugh as I was ringing up the lady' order. Of course Jared has a good sense of humor and was laughing himself about it.
2) So, my sister and I get really bored at work since we're two of the best workers and get things done quickly. One day we sat in the office since we had done everything that there was to do until somebody else could come in and one of us could go home. We sat at the computer and typed casting lists according to our coworker's personalities if we were to star in movies. I won't type out everybody's parts, but here are my sister's roles and mine that I can remember:
Peter Pan: Jen was Captain Hook and I was Mr. Steph (Mr. Smee)
Alice in Wonderland: Jen was the Queen of Hearts, I was the Cheshire Cat
Wizard of Oz: Jen was the Wicked Witch, I was one of the three wizards (yes, we added two extra wizards)

haha I have so many funny work stories!
The best one was probably the time this new guy was really annoying me.
I've been working for about a year and him a week, and he started telling me off for stuff, which pissed me off a great deal.
After telling him numerous times to stop, I had to take drastic action!
So over the next half an hour I added ingredients to the top of his hat whenever he leaned down to clean something. After a while he was walking around with half a cheeseburger on his head, to the general amusement of the managers on shift.
Another time was when me and some guy had a pickle-juggling competition, the result being a very messy floor indeed :)

How do you guys get away with this stuff? Wouldn't you get fired for throwing food around?

Here's a funny story that happened at someone else's job. About 3 years ago when I was 15 I went to the grocery store with one of my cousin who happens to be white. My brother(16 at the time) went also and her 2 kids went. My brother and I got the funny idea to run around the store screaming, "Mommy Mommy where are you." And when we found her we would start throwing things into the grocery cart and throw a fit if when she took it out. Whenever she would leave the cart I would push it down the ailse and she would go running after it. She never took us grocery shopping with her again.

My boss is pretty easy going.
If you do it ALL of the time, she'll write you up,
Or give you a strict counseling.
Like, pineapple juice down the shirt,
Whatever, we don't use the pineapple juice and it was a joke.
But if your continuously wasting, wasting, wasting stuff that we do use, that's another thing.
But for the most part she understands that you need to have a strong work ethic mixed with fun otherwise everybody is miserable.
I <3 my boss = ]

Ok I used to work at concession in a movie theater. We have a giant freezer in the back that people can fit behind and one time one of my co-workers just went back there and fell asleep... On purpose.
So he woke up to find that his shirt, pants, pocket, hat, shoes, socks, etc, were filled with popcorn seeds.
You should have seen him standing up... he looked like the Sandman crumbling down or something... ahhh good times....
Then there was this one time where we were restocking soda syrups from the stock truck, and we have to carry them down a ramp. We have this giant dolly that carries about 45 boxes of soda syrups, each weighs about 40 pounds. Which is about 1800 pounds... So this one guy thought he could do it all by himself, so we were like "go for it" and he tried getting it down the ramp, only to end up letting it go, almost getting killed, and then crashing the dolly through a wall.

Lol Jim responsible work ethic eh?
I always bludge off in the freezer, it's nice and relaxing to just lean against boxes and pretend to be grabbing stuff when someone comes in.
I work with old women. Nothing too funny happens. :(
That would be loads of fun. Just imagine if one of them missed a knit in the cardigan she was making, that would be SOOO funny.
lol just kidding that would be so boring working with old people.

I got one. One day my dad's work office had a bring your kid to work day. So, I went and my mom IMed my dad asking how things were going and before he answered back he asked me "Wanna do something fun?" and I said "Well, what did you have in mind?" and he said "Just wait." and he typed the response "I got to work today and they told me I was fired." and mom absolutly freaked out and me and dad were just trying to keep as quiet as possible.
She didn't take that joke as well as we hoped.

I was working at my dads office (he is a doctor) And there is this one guy who works there who looks just like Borat who is also a doctor, and also a huge jerk. So outside my dads office, by the elevator there is this huge sign that tells the names of the doctors, and their office numbers. So I took a piece of paper, and I wrote BORAT on it, and I taped it over the jerk doctors name.
It stayed there for a whole day
LOL!

Nothing too funny happens with me, as I work by myself.
This one isn't really fun, but it was pretty sweet for me. I used to work with this one kid Matt, but he had to go to college (which is why I have the job now). So on the last day, he made a deal with me: he'd buy me lunch if I'd let him count the money we collected. Now, being the nice guy I am, I let him buy my lunch and count up all of the money. I also didn't want to bother him, so I went out of the office and played the arcade games for a good forty five minutes.
See? I'm a friggin' saint.
