How to dress for homecoming

Not sure if this is the right place to post this... but w/e

How are guys supposed to dress for homecoming? I understand that girls wear dresses and stuff but what do the guys wear?

usually formal. depending on school it ranges from nice polo to shirt and tie to tux

at our school for the year 10 and year 12 formals the guys wear a suit/tux.

Homecoming is Semi-Formal. Just wear some dress pants a nice polo shirt/button up shirt, and some dress shoes. Just be comfortable and look good at the same time.

Usually guys at my school wear some dress pants, a polo or nice button up shirt. Some guys go as far as wearing a jacket too, but they usually end up taking it off.

As for shoes, anything that is comfortable, you don't want to have your feet hurting.

That goes for clothes too. If you are dancing, you are going to get hot. Don't wear something to layered and thick.

If anyone at my school showed up to Homecoming in a tux they'd look ridiculous. Then again, people have definitely done more ridiculous things in the past lol.

Ours is semi-formal. Nice dress pants, button down shirt. Maybe a jacket and tie but that's only for the entrance and pictures- they'll be gone within the first hour just like allll the girls ditch their heels.

For our homecoming day we do not have classes. We are allowed to bring guests and it usually is like a ball. So we all get dressed up in fancy suits and we head for a great day. Usually full of good food and very influencial.

Well first it depends on your school and what event it is. If it for a semi-formal homecoming dance then I would suggest:

A shirt and blazer with jeans-

Then you can wear some dress pants and just a nice button up shirt:
