After trying to read that 10 times, and running out of air, I don't see the problem.
He is a doctor. He is trained to do this. It isn't a big deal.

Hey tempest
As nighter said its not a problem however I can understand why your a bit nervous/upset about it.
Doctors are very kind and I bet this one will be just as nice/good.

It's there job. They do it profesionally and are totally confidential, and they won't tell your parents anything if you don't want them to. (Depending on circumstances of course)
This physical thing must be an American thing as i've never heard of people having them as 'check ups' over here.
But anyway, i can see why your worried, don't be, it's his job. What are you afraid of exactly? That he might hit on you? He's a doctor, he chose that job and life becuase they wanted to help people. All you have to do is help him.

I'm sure he's very used to that happening to him.
Im sure he would rather have a teenage boy do that than an elderly man!
Eugh!!!!! Imagine that, I know that you won't! :-)
Honestly don't worry about it, if you think or worry about it, it won't be as bad.
Just remember he's trying to help you, who's he going to tell anyway? Your friends who he's never met?
It's all confidential remember.

First,
[email protected], it's more than the odd time you talk sense.
OK. To the OP, curiously you're more comfortable having a girl doctor examine you, and exposing yourself to, even your penis. I think it goes back to that 'mommy thing', this idea that all girls are moms and we're less basful around our moms b/c they're, well, our moms and they've taken care of us and bathed us and all, so they know what we have.
However, during adolescence, many (most?) guys prefer to have a guy doc examine them, b/c it just feels less embarassing. Maybe b/c they've got what we've got, so it feels less personal. It's like using the guys locker room or bathroom as you get older, instead of going into the girls with mom.
Whoever this new guy doctor is, he's seen whatever it is you've got, even erect (approx. 50% of teenagers get an erection during an exam, so even that's normal). Try to relax and remember he's a doctor, you might even find it more comfortable being with a guy doc!

Personally i'd rather have a male doctor, because he's gone through the same things that i am. plus all the girl doctors are old for me(NOT FUN)

I agree with the others that getting an erection in your doctor's office is really not a big deal as the doctor is a professional and is not going to be surprised by one. Personally, there is no bigger turn off than the smell of antiseptic, latex gloves, and the sight of needles, and if you look and smell those things you will probably have a hard time thinking of anything sexual.

i don't feel comfy with a dude touching my sack either i know how you feel :l but also when u have a girl doctor and she's hot u have to refrain from getting a boner so there are 2 downsides xD
