well i would say that since you are only friends and if you never had felt these feelings toward him before then you definatly are not ready to have sex with him. but if you've always (secretly) loved him then you decide if you think it is worth the potential risk (i.e. STDs, AIDs, getting pregnent, ect.), then go for it but stay safe. and even if you are going to i would also suggest that wait a month or two like Laura said to make sure that these feelings arent coming just from the mutual masturbation.

Just know that it is impertive that you guys are good friends and when it does end that there is not going to be any drama. A lot of people have issues after these occurances.
