Best way to get a girls number....?

Okay so I am in drivers ed right now and we only have 6 more classes and 4 more drives we schedule outside of class. This girl who i have fallen for sits in front of me and she constantly turns around to talk. Shes really easy to talk to and we are comfortable together and somehow we both like each other. WE go to different high schools and my heart is getting heavy as the the last day i see her may be near, I have had 3 girlfriends before and I have always known that we just didn't click. I really love her and I want to keep in touch and arrange activities to do with her (We are both v very active and love to do things). So it comes down to it I want her phone number, I don't want her email, I want her phone number, I have the balls to call her up but getting her number is the hard part. If I do it in class what is the best way I can?

Also, if you've only seen her in class, chances are you don't "love" her. Of course, I won't get in the way of that, go for it!

As Falk said, the best way is to ask for their number in a sentence, so it doesn't sound out of the blue.

Say 'Hey can I have your number' pretty simple...

Like the others have said, "Can I get your number so we can stay in touch?"

Or, you could give her yours first and see if she follows suit. If not then say, "Hey, so I know who is calling can I get yours too?"

you don't need to make it sound that you like her more then friends. all you need to really say is "i've really enjoyed chatting with you, maybe we should exchange numbers so we can catch up sometime?" by saying that you are not suggesting you want to be more then friends, and if she likes you as a friend at the very least, she should be agreeable with that. unless she is the type of person who only gives her number to certain people, but don't worry about that unless it happens. good luck, you'll be fine. :)

don't let the fact she has a bf stop you from asking for her number. although you may be interested in being more then friends, you can't be with her right now obviously. but that doesn't mean you can't chat as friends on the phone.

well if you think you will regret not getting her number, then you know what you have to do next time you see her. now as i have already said, its not hard. its not like you are asking her out or anything, you are just asking for her number so you can catch up. all you have to say is "hey, i've really enjoyed hanging out and chatting with you and stuff. maybe we could exchange numbers so we can catch up sometime?" there is nothing strange about doing that and honestly, its nothing to get nervous about. so go and do it!
