We made one for the olympics so why not the paralympics? Equality rules!

Anywho, this is the thread to talk about the paralympic games in Beijing 2008.

What did everyone think of the opening ceremony? It was going to be worse than the olympics ceremony everyone knew that but i thought it was still good.

It doesn't get as much coverage in america as it does in Europe. Don't know why it just doesn't.
Britain have won three gold medals on the first day!

My estimation is close, I guess China, GB and Canada it turned out China, GB and USA. Curse the canadians! :)

Yeah, if you combine the olympic and paralympic results I think that makes us the second best sporting nation in the world, behind the dominant 1.3billion strong china. Bot bad for a small island eh?
