Hey everyone!
I'm just wondering how bad the lack of respect is for teachers at your school.

But first let me give you a summary of how it is at my school.

I have English just about every day of the week, and the misbehaviour in my class is ridiculous.
Generally one or more fruit get thrown at the board/fan/occasionally a substitute every lesson.
People start chants, swear openly at the teacher, rip their textbooks up in front of the teacher, yell at kids going past in the hallway, play music and basically do anything they feel like in these classes. It's so bad that I can go round my class/other classes along the hallway selling coke with no consequences whatsoever.
So far we've made my teacher cry about three times, almost every substitute we get cries as well.
Apparently we have the reputation for being the worst school in Sydney among teachers.

I feel really sorry for some of these teachers, they're nice people and are just trying to give us oppertunities in life to do better.
So I was wondering how your guys schools treat teachers, and what happens?

in my school, our grade (yr 9) is pretty good. like, some of our classes have their moments, but on the whole compared to others we are pretty good. however i believe that yr 10 are quite the nasty, bitchy bunch. amongst stuff they have done, they got about 10 guys together and picked up the vice principals car and moved it into another street over about an hour. on reflection, i find that quite funny lol!

Wow... the classes in the schools up here aren't as bad as yours, but they are pretty horrible all the same. Nobody's ever calm.

When i was in the 8th grade my class made the substitute cry. And another class made one of the substitutes curse them out and quit. Besides that we were a good school.

well we have some pretty bad behaviour in our school. but in all honesty it depends on the teacher, if theres a teacher that the pupils respect then people tend to behave, but some just dont have any control and are just horrible tbh and people misbehave in their class'.

My teachers are held in the highest regards at my school you come in an sit down at your desk. No one talks and the classes are great. The teachers are nice in return usually we play fun games and have easy tests.

it depends on the teacher, some are harsher than others, but nobody is so obviouslly and openly rude.

haha, my class has always been a large roudy bunch (i'm in 9th, graduate 2012. ask around, our [graduating]class is huge and loud) but never that bad

My school isn't too bad.
We always get compliments on field trips; 'The best class that has ever visited' stuff like that.
Which is actually pretty cool

We get compliments if we don't trash the room, I think the teacher's standards have fallen somewhat.
You guys sound like you go to pretty good schools, I'd love to go to a school like that Dizco.
