Hey everyone!
I'm just wondering how bad the lack of respect is for teachers at your school.
But first let me give you a summary of how it is at my school.
I have English just about every day of the week, and the misbehaviour in my class is ridiculous.
Generally one or more fruit get thrown at the board/fan/occasionally a substitute every lesson.
People start chants, swear openly at the teacher, rip their textbooks up in front of the teacher, yell at kids going past in the hallway, play music and basically do anything they feel like in these classes. It's so bad that I can go round my class/other classes along the hallway selling coke with no consequences whatsoever.
So far we've made my teacher cry about three times, almost every substitute we get cries as well.
Apparently we have the reputation for being the worst school in Sydney among teachers.
I feel really sorry for some of these teachers, they're nice people and are just trying to give us oppertunities in life to do better.
So I was wondering how your guys schools treat teachers, and what happens?
