Deoderant definitely helps. I notice that I too don't get smelly, but I shower often. Who knows, you may hit that phase eventually, you may not.

Get a combination of deoderant and anti-perspirant that way you'll smell good and you will not sweat.

Sorry to contradict you here Dizco :P
You probably shouldn't use anti-perspirant regularly if you're just starting going through puberty(I'm not sure, are you?). It's not good for you to be constantly unable to sweat, so I'd just say use regular deodorant in the mornings(don't reapply, it won't do anything).

Anyway, I can't answer definately unless I was to smell you(weird much lol).
Do you not sweat much, or do you sweat a lot but aren't able to smell it? If so, you probably do smell a lot, but you can't smell your own BO.
But since you're fourteen you're probably yet to hit the stage where you sweat like a pig at the mere mention of physical exercise, but you will eventually get there.

as long as you shower often and spray deodorant, especially if you are going to be doing something active like playing sports, then you'll be fine.some people get worse body odor then others, but as long as you keep yourself clean, then you will be fine.

Puberty doesn't mean you start to have uncontrollable or unmanagable stench. Its only if you don't use deodorant and shower.

First, everyone's body chemistry is a bit different, so we each have our own smell. Second, during puberty that chemistry changes. So, for some, even with good hygiene, they begin to smell the further out they are from that shower. Others donlt have that problem, regardless of when their last shower was. Third, at 14, your chemistry is still changing, so it's still unlcear whuch of these categories you'll fall into.

Showering daily and washing well with soap is a good idea. If you begin to notice an odor, at that point you might want to start using a deoderant. But remember, deoderant just covers the smell with something more pleasant, the cause still remains, so washing is still important.

An anti persperant slows the rate of perspiration, sweating. With less sweat, there's less moisture for the bacteria to grow in, which, combined with your personal chemistry, causes the smell. You might not need both an anti perspirant and a deoderant, eventhough they often come together. You might want to try just one and see how it works, the idea being that less is better, esp. when it comes to putting chemicals on your body.

Sorry doesn't cut it your wrong and I'm not sorry. You see the entire body is full of pores that sweat. Its not just your head and your armpits. It just so happens that your pits are in a dark region usually filled with hair. Not sweating isn't generally all that bad there are other ways of your body cooling down.

I think your body can survive without sweating from the pits. But your body does need to sweat because it also cleans out your body. Anyways you shouldn't expect to be extremely musty just because of puberty. Especially if you shower daily and wear deodorant.

Guys, even if you wear anti persperant/deoderant your pits will still sweat! All the guys on my football team wear deoderant and trust me there are some sweaty pits going on all over. Just shower and use deoderant and you won't stink.

Well obviously if you're working out that's different but just in general, no.

well, are you sweaty all of the time? you only smell because of sweat, its not like suddenly you hit puberty, and now you smell like a wet dog or somthing
