If you look carefully at Patchy's screenshot you will see three distinctly red-underlined words. So there is, somehow.

I'm going to try it.

The verdict is...

I like it. I can't wait for the most viewed pages feature to kick in, that'll be handy.

And I just tested and the spell checker seems to be working.

I think this one's a keeper until it does something stupid, which could be shortly, who knows.

EDIT: Where's the file buttons and crap? No Edit, file, view, nothing. Wtf?

There are a few small drop down menus on the right hand side, there is a piece of paper and a wrench. Click either of those.

The settings are quite minimal right now, I would hope/expect more will be added as work progresses on this.

The original EULA for this browser was a little shotty, but they reworded it, and removed the majority of a section that basically claimed that you agreed to give them rights to anything you posted online, anywhere.

Exerpt from original EULA:

11. Content license from you

11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the Services and may be revoked for certain Services as defined in the Additional Terms of those Services.

They've removed most of section 11 now, though.

Google also seems to have forgotten to patch a known flaw/bug in the webkit they used:

Oh, well. It's a beta. I'm sure it will get better. :P

I do like the speed improvements this has over any other browser I've used, though.

Some fun little tidbits to type into the Address bar when you're bored:

about:stats, about:network, about:histograms, about:plugins, about:memory, about:cache, or about:dns

Wait, so anything we post though their browser they can use freely? I don't get that.

I don't really like it tbh :(

It's fast and seems safe enough, but I don't like the look of it :( I'm going to stick with opera.

Originally, Yes.

They've removed that section, now, though, after people complained. :P

Click the EULA link above, and go to section 11, and you can see most of it is gone now.
