So, I'm in yet another sticky situation.

I had cyber sex with a friend of mine a few weeks ago. She and I are part of this club thing. We had an agreement that she wouldn't tell anyone we had cyber sex as long as I didn't tell anyone that she was bi.

Well, a few days ago I found out that she cuts and drinks. So, I wanted to try and help her through it.

SO, the other night I was talking to her on the phone, my mom asked who it was. I told her and said I was trying to help her out with a few things. My mom got kind of mad that I was trying to help someone through a situation like that, having no real counseling training. I don't see it that way, but she did.

Anyways, she said that I better tell one of the people at the club, or that she would.

Now, my dilemna is this:

If I do tell the adult, I'm afraid she'll go back on her promise and tell people we had cyber sex....which wouldn't be good.

If I don't tell the adult, my mom eventually will, and she'll trace it back to me..

soo...

any advice?

i think you need to talk about it with the girl first, so she realises the situation and that you don't come across as backstabbing her. if she knows the position you have been put into, then she'll be less likely to go around telling everyone. as for what to do, its a tough one. maybe talk about it with the girl first and maybe she can help you, because whatever you decide is going to affect her. but honestly, i can't see any solution where people aren't going to find out about your friends issues.
