ok, correct me if i called it the wrong thing

you know on some stereo systems they have the row of lights and each column is a certain frequency and whenever that frequency is played the light moves up?

well i want one of those for my computer that goes in the 5.25" bay, yet i cant find one

if anyone knows of one i can get i would appreciate it

I know an equalizer is something that you set for a frequency, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing that displays it. Double click your volume control (for Windows) to see what an equalizer is like (but that's not really what it is).

Anywho, I haven't seen anything like that... ever :P Sorry kid.

www.winamp.com has diff skins and mine has a bunch of things like that, they light up and everything or you can set up a skin for an alarm clock they have probably anything your looking for and its free for the basic one, they even have plugins for msn and yahoo so people see what your playing at that moment. its kinda fun hopefully something on that site may help you.

He wants a hardware device that he can put in a bay where you'd normally have your CDrom. Look around, do some searches and find out what they are.
