I don't know if wanting gay sex makes you gay (there's more to being gay than sex), but what you want certainly doesn't qualify as straight, and frankly I don't think it qualifies as 'experimentation' or 'curiosity' anymore, as you've done enough here to determine that you like it, you're doing it b/c you enjoy it, you've gotten your data, and you've made a decision.

The minute that your friendship turns into something sexual changes the whole relationship between you and your friend. Personally, I think that nothing good can come out of experimenting as things usually end up becoming weird between you and the other person. I would avoid doing anything else with your friend unless you know for a fact that he is also gay and would not be repulsed by your request. Just be very careful about asking your friend as you don't want to end your friendship or other people finding out about what you two do to one another if you want to keep your activities quiet.

Just wanting to have the physical side of relationship with your friend shows that it's most likely just hormones. You have to be physically and mentally attracted to the same sex to even be considered as being gay. As Sam said, there's more to being gay than sex, and it's just you being curious. THat's all don't worry.
But if you take it any further with your friend then it won't do your frienship any good. In fact it will ruin your friendship.
So either keep doing what your doing now, as long as you BOTH want to and no more.
