I get it sometimes, I think...?

I just feel really lonely sometimes, even if I'm not.

But I try to put it aside.

That's what I'm trying to ask here. Is it bad to just put it aside? I try to sidetrack myself. I play my 360, or I play games on the computer. Is this the right thing to do?

Inb4 seeing a doctor, telling my parents, etc.

I think that its not full on depression and that depression is often over diagnosed now adays to most teen agers. Like if doctors tried, they would probably find some way of calling it depression. Depression isn't just a in and out kinda thing. I mean we all have low moments and are bored and alone sometimes, but then we find something to pick us back up and make us perky again. With depression, it is a constant downer.

It doesnt really sound like depression to me. I mean, if it was depression its likely you would lose love for your passions and things you love and often isolate yourself from your friends and loved ones.

Keep in mind Im no professional but I know a thing or two.

I hope you feel better.

Well, from what you described, this is definitely not depression.

But, am I doing the right thing by just "ignoring" it?

I think the best thing really is to do stuff to take your mind off of it. In time it'll probably go away, but just make sure you do things like get exercise as well.

But yes, taking your mind off of it and not letting it grow inside you is a good thing.
