View Full Version : Disappointed instead of happy?

One of my friends might be pregnant, and she's 14.

I started wondering what I would do if she turned out to be pregnant. I was imagining walking up to her and hugging her, saying it's going to be OK, etc. Then I saw on her MySpace that her mood was "Pure", and I thought maybe that meant pure from pregnancy, and instead of being happy for her, I felt disappointed that I wouldn't be able to run up to her and comfort her, etc.

I don't like her like a love interest, but she's a really good friend, and I was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to comfort her. I mean, that's not normal, is it? I should be relieved.

Help me?

Your just a little disappointed because you had a plan to make her feel better and it turns out that she doesn't need it, but that still shouldn't stop you from trying to comfort her. Just go and be her friend because that's the best thing you can do.

I agree with Thomas
You had a plan to comfort her, yet she felt OK without it.
You felt kind of disappointed she didn't need your help.
But since your basing it off her myspace mood being 'Pure'
Maybe you better get the full story before jumping to conclusions.
