Ok, so there is a bit of ambiguity as to what people class under the term msyogynism. What do you lot think?

(This is in this forum because I feel it fits in here better than TWPR)

Mysongynism isn't an English word.

Misogyny is hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women. [Dictionary.com]
Is that what you meant?

They are one and the same as they are both nouns for the same thing.
misogynism

noun
hatred of women [syn: misogyny] [ant: philogyny]

Ahh you spelled it with a Y before ;)

Well, I think the definition is pretty clear.
I don't get what there is to debate, but maybe you can start it off with your opinion?

Well, it was mentioned today that saying that receiving a blowjob from your girlfriend would be better than to have the ability to give yourself one is misogynistic. I, personally, do not see how it could be interpreted like that and wondered what others thought and/or believed.

Hmmm, well I can't really see how that would be Misogynist either.
Because, most likely, it does feel better.
It has nothing to do with hating or mistreating women.

Example:
Even if they could reach, most people wouldn't scratch their own back, because it feels better when others do it.

He stated that getting a blow job was from his girlfriend was alot better than getting one from himself. If he had said that his girlfriend would give him one if he asked then no it wouldn' tbe but he stated that he had her so she could give him a blowjob. Stop defending a useless case.

I agree and do like your example.

It isn't a useless case because I happen to agree with him. What difference does it make whether he omitted to post in his first post that he would ask her? It doesn't affect how he would be with her in person, does it? And he stated after it was clear that he had been misunderstood that he would not force her to do anything.

A guy receiving oral sex from a girl cannot be misogynistic because some girls really enjoy giving it.

What if she didn't? Hm you seem to ignore some basic fact, that if she didn't it would be.

And where was it clear that she isn't happy with doing it? He said very clearly once it was clear that he had been misunderstood that he would not force her.

Hokay people,
Don't let this turn out like the other thread. ;)
Also, I agree. I do not think that what was stated previously is misogynistic.

Bluntly, if the girl wants to suck a cock and likes it then how is it "hatred or distrust".
In the thread previously never ever stated anything that said that. He never stated anyhting about how he 'forced her'. Note that I am using that situation purely as an example but we know nothing about him or his girlfriend so we can't jump to assumtions that he has "hatred or distrust" against women.
