Okay, so most of my friends are girls and I often get teased about it. I want to make more guy friends, but a lot of guys are harsh and just shoot me down... I tried to learn how to skateboard to impress them, but I'm not good at all. Help?

You should be friends with who you want. If you feel more comfortable with girls, so be it. Besides, I suspect the guys are just jealous, anyway.

you know, trying to change who you really are is the worst thing you can do here. if you are comfortable being friends with girls, then just do that. you don't need to prtend your someone you're not to impress. if others tease you, then thats their problem and not yours. you should enjoy your friends and whether they are girls or guys, thats irrelevant. real friends are very valuable, and you should stay being friends with them, rather then trying to create false friendships because you think you should be friends with guys.

My best friend last year was a girl. The boys that tease you are jerks, so ignore them. Hey one reason why the boys tease you is that they are jealous that get to be around girls more than them. Be friends with who you are comfortable, and don't change just to make more friends.

Okay. Let me share with you MY story. Then Ill give a little advice.

Ever since 3rd grade, I have been teased and called gay. Which I am not. This was the simple ignorance of youth telling me what they thought hanging out with girls meant. To them, guys hung out with guy and vice versa. Well, I always found this ironic considering that they are the ones that are hanging with a bunch of men and not getting busy with the ladies. ;) lol. Well, even to this day, I am labeled gay because I am sensitive and have good style. I can't even express to you how many time I ahve been teased. But Ill try. I took a count on one day. 36 people called me gay and thats just one occurrance, not counting if they did it again. Thats one tenth of the people in my highschool calling my gay daily. Then it got worse and they started to tell me to go die. But thats a different story.

Honestly I learned to ignore it and always found great humor in the fact that I am the one with the ladies and they call ME gay. Lol. And really, teenager ages suck from what I've heard. Most people are simply ignorant and need to get over themselves. Which, if you are lucky, will happen by COLLEGE! Woot!

don't even try to impress them. it dosn't work often. and i cant help you. the way i did it was to go to another school (or another town) where nobody knows you, when you get the chance get up in from of the class and do a skit (a storylike form of stand-up). or you could stay in the same class as you are now and develope a wonderful but not sossy sence of sarcasm and use it on what people say, like teachers and so on. so i guess being funny is a good way to make friends.
