Okay, I went to the dance, it was fun, ect, ect, ect.

But last night, Halloween, I was trick or treating, and I stopped at the house of the girl that rides the bus with me.

Now Im wearing a t-shirt folded into a ninja mask on my head (it actually looks pretty cool). No one else could tell who I was until I told them. But she knew right away.

And her mom came in and said "whos that?", and she said "It's Caleb." But I had never even seen her mom, much less been introduced before last night.
Now in my personal experiance, you dont talk about someone like that unless both people know who they are. Does this mean she talks about me at home?

Anyway, today on the bus, I asked her, "how does your mom know who I was?", and she said "Oh, she just talks to random people". But I am still thinking that she had atleast at some point talked about me with her mom, because it would seem like otherwise her mom would have further inquired when she said "its Caleb".
But then (today on the bus) she said "I only knew it was you becuase of your eyes. Your blue eyes."
Now I didnt say anything, but I was thinking "Wow. She can recognize me by my eyes? She looks at my eyes?"
Heck, I dont even know what color her eyes are.

Does that mean she likes me? Or is that just something girls normally do?

Hey thanks guys.

Is it normal then that if she does like me, that she deosnt obviosly show it? Are most girls into the whole "little clues" thing?

Its not like she goes out of her way to talk to me. An on the bus, she usually just talks to her other friends that sit near us, unless I get her attention, then she actually makes intelligent conversation with me.

I hope you guys are right, because I really like this girl.

at first with joseph I would show small signs and like..sit close enough for him to talk to me but far enough away that there were still other people closer to me than him. Only because I was afraid he didn't like me back...and if he did I wanted him to come to me...but that's just me.

So youre saying that if you were this girl, you would want me to come to you, you wouldnt stright up ask me out.

yes..if I was that girl I would wait for you to make the first "big" move.... I'd want you to come sit by me and I'd want you to talk to me and I'd want you to ask me out ect. ect.

Well the thing is.. I dont know how this goes at your school but the goal on my bus is to have your own seat.

Maybe it would be different with me, but usually she tries to geta seat to herself unless its one of her girlfriends that is sitting with her.

I can only remember a few times when Ive sat with her on the bus, but that was becasue ther were no empty seats left. This year I would doubt that would happen because we all sit at the front of the bus (everyone always wants the very back seats), so we pretty much sit in the same spots everyday.

I just feel akward when her friends and mine are sitting around us. I would just sit with her but i have a feeling she would tell me that there an empty seat right next to hers and tell me to move.

Well, you obviously like this girl, are you just dropping little clues, or being real blatent about it. From what I tell you just dropping little clues and being shy about it. So naturally a girl is going to do the same thing!

So youre saying I should be blatent?

well I only went to public school for a few years and only rode the bus for about 1 year cause I was sexually harrased on one...BUT I mean..I dunno I'd love it if the guy I liked came up and sat with me....if you think she'll mind just say before you sit down, "do you mind if I sit here?" or "is this seat taken?"

Well today on the bus I sat one seat in front of her, and then one of our friends (theres 4 of us that are pretty good friends), sat with me, but he dumped his trumpet case in her seat, because no one was sitting with her.
So we were joking around, and she was pretending to cry and stuff, it was fun. She was leaning away from him(jokingly).

So then when a seat opened up one seat behind her, the friend moved back to it. I put my foot up on the seat and leaned against the window.
Then she leaned away from him again after he made some joke ("I dont have to be nice to girls, just women."). Incedentally, leaning away from him was now leaning toward me. She was leaning agasint the back of my seat, I swear our heads were inches apart. Then the friend said, "You know who a woman is tho, its Caleb!"

Then she said "Hey, dont be mean to Caleb, hes on my side!"
I instinctively said "yeah!"

Then we were talking(all four of us), but i swear she was looking at me, and when I caught her eye, she grinned and looked at the floor. The we kept looking at each other and grinning.

Maybe it sounds better than it actually was. She was still joking with the other two and contributing to the conversation. But i couldnt stop looking at her, and I dont think she even minded. Everytime she looked at me we both smiled and laughed.

Is there something here?

The question I am planning to ask her tommorrow is "Are you doing anything tommorrow night? Maybe you could come and watch a movie or something." She lives two houses down, so if she agrees, it wont be a problem of getting to my house.

Is that an okay way to ask that question?
