Having sex isn't like getting a driver's license where you have to be a certain age, or "grow into" having it. Though I will say sex isn't always tied in with love (Nay, sex is usually never tied in with love), a lot of people that I know my age just have sex to just have sex.
Which is digusting, and makes them sluts but that's not my point. My pont is one is ready to have sex if both partners are ready, and if the male partner (In a heterosexual relationship) isn't a dumbass.
I mean really, there aren't too many women that I know of who would ask the male for sex. It's usually the other way around and a lot of times the female is persuaded into it.

So yeah, can't really vote. I would've chosen the 14-17 one (Because it seems when people turn 17 they MUST have sex) but 3 year is too large of a gap =/

(P.S. I kinda forgot to point out that, for me, sex is only for partners who truly love each other. Too many people use sex's pleasures just because they can. I'd want love kthx =P)

As far as right?...that's not my decision. But in my opinion, you should not be ignorant about sex, and you should both be close and ready to take it to the next, more intimate level.

Once you get your mind ready for sex and think about all the consequences than I believe you are ready.

Most of my friends have lost there virginity ( at least two at the age of 12 ) So I have mixed feelings on this.

honestly, i think that people shouldnt have sex until they are really ready. some people think they are ready for sex but then get embarressed when they go into a store to buy condoms. if thats going to happen, then they truly arent mature enough to be having sex.

Anyway, I know some people who have lost their virginity when they were 8-13 years old o___0 and I think it's abit sick.

Obviously a child shouldn't be having sex because most of the time they're not emotionaly/physically mature.

Personaly I say about 18+ but I don't think it's wrong for a 16 year old or w/e to be having sex, I just think people should wait until they're abit older.
