I am not seeking attention first off. I have add and nld which is a non verbal learning disorder. I am a very sad 14 year old and think of suicide every day. I have had some friends that talk about suicide and they are all sad and bummed but when I think about it I never talk about it or frown infact I think it would be nice to die. I would have killed myself a long time ago if I didint smoke pot everyday and since I live in canada maybe I can get a prescription but

Hm, well first off pot is not something to base your life on. You just need to keep going on, yeah its hard but if you sit there just saying "I'm going to kill myself." Your definatly not getting anywhere at all. Just live life to the fullest! Take the ugliest Girl home from a party, Ride your bike on the beach, just do something. Suicide is an awful thing and I do not think your loved ones would do well without you. :) Have fun out there lad.

Hi Jordo, I'm Michael I was suicidal once too so I know what you mean and I understand that you can't just "snap" out of it.
Have you seen a Psychologist about this because they can work wonders.
The best method to over come depression is a mix between medication and therapy I can guarantee that it will help you.
It helped me and of course like anything else it is not instant and takes some work and willingness but it can cure you.
I highly suggest trying to see your local doctor about this.
Good Luck!

I dont base my life on smoking weed. I took a 3 week break to see how I would feel, and I found that life seemed very bleak. Weed is the only enjoyment I have, my only friend that cannot back stab me. And I dont just sit their saying im going to kill myself, I think you need to spend more time reading and less time posting. sorry if that sounded cheeky I dont mean it that way. everyday is a struggle to bring myself out of bed because I just dont feel like it. I think to myself, whats the point? What is the reason to get up today? their is none I dont want to live anymore. but then I slap myself because I know thats just me being depressed and get up and fake a smile to my mom come out of my room so she knows im still alive. I dont need people saying cheer up and stuff I just want to know. How can I deal with this crippling depression and going to the doctor is something I may consider but I need more options.

There is only one option. GET HELP!! We can't solve your problems this is something that you and a trained professional needs to work on. And stop smoking weed if your just using it to cope cause that isn't healthy what if you can't get to none what do you do then?

I quoted both of these b/c they are excellent and sum up what needs to be done here so well.
There aren't too many options available to you if you want to beat depression. Right now, you're self medicating with the pot, and not too effectively, it would seem. You're still depressed. You need professional help.
Get to a doctor, a therapist, who can assess your depression and offer the right treatment that will solve it permanently, not mask it like the pot is doing now.
Tell your folks, get an appointment. There's really not many other effecive things you can do to fix this.

I agree with what people have said here. Your only real option is to go get help if you feel it's getting that bad. We're reading what you say and giving you our opinion; go get help.
And smoking pot all the time won't help. I know from experience, all being high / stoned does is give you a short time boost, it doesn't give you any relief which outlasts the period of when you smoke it. You can get better drugs than cannabis, i.e. legal ones prescribed by a doctor. They will be better than pot.
