Im worried im Addicted to Masturbation,I Masturbate about 4-7 times a day and Sometimes im Horny and sometimes i just do it cause i have the urge To masturbate and Sometimes i just do it cause im bored. Is this normal?

Yeah, it's OK to masturbate as frequently as you want, as long as it doesn't interfere with your other responsibilities. Masturbation feels good and is probably pretty new, so there's this novelty to it, and all those hormones make it a biological imperative, it's really like sweating or thirsting on a hot day.


As an FYI, you cannot become 'addicted' to masturbation. What you're experiencing is the normal sex drive, as you get used to it, you'll find that you can better control it (And the frequency you use it).

While masturbating in and of itself is not necessarily bad if you find that you are spending all your free time doing it or if masturbating is interupting important things in your life, then it is time that you reign in your sex drive. Controlling your sex drive is easier said than done, especially if you are relatively new to puberty. The best way to keep your masturbating in control is to remove things from your immediate environment that you know for a fact will arouse you. Also, since you do masturbation out of boredom, then you need to find something to occupy your time. Do something productive like hang out with friends, do things around the house, or even go out for a bike ride. Keeping your mind and body occupied with other things can go a long way to reducing your sex drive. Also, keep the door of your room open so that when you are alone in there you will not be tempted to masturbate as someone might see you. When you feel like masturbating, then go to a public place in your house where there are other people as that can quickly kill any interest in sex.

Again, masturbating is totally normal and fine, but if you are doing it to excess, then you have to bring things under control.

Firstly, you are new to puberty.
Saying your 14 and saying your in the 4th stage a puberty just proves you have not been in it long.

You won't finish puberty until early to mid twenties, and even if you started puberty at 10 [very early] you would still be considered new to it.

Anyway, you are masturbating a lot, but as long as it doesn't interfere with your life, it doesn't matter, and it doesn't mean your addicted just because you do it a lot.

i think sam put it best and i agree, as long as you don't masturbate to the point where it inteferes with your life and activities such as school and stuff, and also as long as you don't do it to the point of injury, you have nothing to worry about.
