I have known this guy since kindergarten and we are really close. His mom calls me her future daughter in law, so I asked him one time over a text message, but he didn't reply. So I texted him like 3 days later saying "Opps sorry wrong person", and he said "okay that was wierd". But we still hang out and everything, but I can't get over him what should I do.....

take it slower, as friends, for now just try to get to know him,m and let him get to know you!
dont be afraid of rejection, the worst thing someone can do is say no, its up to you not to get embarrassed, because its not an embarrassing thing to like someone :)
