How do you find the specific post number of a specific post?
Is there an easy way?

If you're viewing the thread, look at the number. This one should have #2. Hover over the link, and you should see the number (showpost) in the URL.

at the end of the link that's in the number 2 in the top right corner in francis' post, you should see this:
showpost.php?p=344293&postcount=2

post=344293
that is the number, after the p=

I'm guessing you're trying to make a quote specific post. This is the way to do that:
put the number after a semicolon by the name in the quote tag and close the tag:

:D

which changes to
:D

Not exactly but I see how its done now. I never noticed it. The only way I knew was to quote a post kinda...anyways thank you. My question has been answered.
